Shari and Becky first crossed paths back in 2001 when working together for a local non-profit agency.

Fast friends and allies, we often imagined teaming up to create a full service contracting resource for non-profits. After several years of working in the non-profit sector, and several more years providing contract services individually, the dream became a reality. We joined forces to launch Mission Control Consulting in January 2007, with a focus on the local non-profit sector.

Our business was born out of our own experiences of staff shortages while working in the non-profit sector, and our desire to alleviate the problem.

Since our official launch, we have grown to include two part-time associates in our Financial Services division. We work together to provide the flexibility, knowledge and level of service that our clients need and deserve.

In 2009, our client focus grew to include small entrepreneurs - not unlike ourselves! We had come to realize that our business has something in common with our non-profit clients: we were running on a huge amount of passion, and minimal resources. We knew that other entrepreneurs and self-employed professionals would be in the same boat - and that we could help.
